I just saw a screen shot in a tweet that shows how you do text formatting  in Facebook At Work. 

It's Markdown and the functionality includes links.

Why isn't this accessible through the API, so we can flow formatting and links through to Facebook posts from our blogging tools? 

Come on Facebook, you used the web to bootstrap an incredible company. Stop cutting it off, let it flow through the content of your site. 

And let's get titles for posts and podcast enclosures, and the web is ready to grow again.
