The root window remembers its size & position. Column widths are preserved.

All windows are reopened to their correct size, not 16 pixels narrower or shorter.

When a table or outline window is in the background, selected line is outlined in gray.

When an outline or wptext window is in the background, selected text is outlined in gray.

Hiding a window makes it inactive, and activates the new frontmost window.
