The other ramifications of FUD are that the dinosaurs continue to mate.

As John Perry Barlow says "We have to be the furry creatures, running around beneath the footsteps of the dinosaurs. As their foot comes down, we scurry out of the way. The difference is that we'll surivive the ice age."

I've always felt that nimble small companies do all the innovating, as we're the SWAT teams - the Ninjas stealthily creeping up on a new market, and lunging forward so fast that everyone else (including the dinoasaurs) can only play catch-up.

And that's Reis and Trout - stake out your own battelfield, erect defences and move the war to your hilltop.
