Here are the change notes for this release:

  1. File format has changed again -- closer to the Frontier 4.x format. ODB Engine 1.0b7 can read databases created by 1.0b5 and earlier, without conversion. However, databases saved by 1.0b7 cannot be read by earlier versions. (Databases created by 1.0b6 should be thrown away.)

  2. The supported long floating point odbValue type for Mac PowerPC and 68K is extendedvaluetype, not doublevaluetype. The data is a 80-bit IEEE extended value. The Win32 library does not currently support any long floating point value type, but support for extended will come soon. Support for native doubles on both PowerPC and Win32 platforms may be added later.
