How to Install

Just three quick steps to setting up your machine to receive objects from the scripting, com server.

When everything is properly configured, you'll be able to install new stuff in your Frontier object database with a single mouseclick.

Step 1: Do you have Frontier?

If not, go get it right now, at the Aretha website.

Step 2: Download and install an updated script

Click on the following line to download a new version of Frontier.finder2Click:

Frontier.finder2Click.hqx

De-binhex it and double-click on the file to install it in your database. In Frontier, press cmd-S to save changes.

The updated version of Frontier.finder2Click knows how to unpack the specially formatted files produced by the (new) Aretha web server suite.

Step 3: Configure Netscape

Launch Netscape 1.1 or greater.

Choose General Preferences from the Options menu.

Click on Helpers.

Click on New... A dialog pops up, enter "application" for Mime Type and "x-frontier" for Mime Subtype.

Click on Browse... Choose the Frontier application.

Choose 2CLK from the File type popup.

Set the Action to "Launch application".

Click on OK.

After performing Steps 1 thru 3, you'll be able to click on any download link in the scripting.com website, and the file will automatically be installed (with confirmation) in your object database.
