I read a piece that I don't want to link to that criticized Sean Penn for writing an op-ed that was mansplaining. I haven't seen that word online in some time. Maybe because I unfollowed people that use it. I don't know. But it was kind of shocking. 

He wrote something about himself. How is that offensive? If you don't want to read, hit the Back button. 

I've seen women do the exact equiv, based on the supposed superiority of their gender, and yes I've had to sit through it. And of course it was offensive. In other words men don't have the exclusive on being inconsiderate assholes. ;-)
