Many people who use Macs today have been using them for a long time. I've overheard the discusions about present day Steve Jobs from many long time Mac users. They want to believe that it can be like it was back then. It's almost a trance. I say let them believe. It's what the customers want. Give us the placebo.

Everyone should watch the film "Cinema Paridiso". Nothing can ever be like it was "back then". You grow up and you move on. When you come back, everything is very different.
