I got an email from Jon Erikson, jerickson@ddj.com, at Dr. Dobb's. He says:
We have an issue of Dr. Dobb's Sourcebook (our bimonthly magazine that focuses on database development) coming up that will deal with object databases. I'd be real interested in an article on the UserLand Object Database Engine. More specifically, an article that builds an application based on the Engine (plus an overview of the Engine's characteristics and features, of course).Would you be interested in writing such an article (we'd pay, naturally)? I note that there is a sample app on your web site; perhaps this could be the basis of an article. Or maybe you know of some interesting apps that users have built using the Engine that they might be interested in writing about.
Thanks for your help and I look forward to hearing from you,

I'm about to head out of town for Seybold in NY, and I wanted to get back to you. I'd like to post your message on www.scripting.com. I can't write the piece myself, I have too many committments right now. Maybe an edited version of the stuff on our website? So -- if you're doing development work using our ODB Engine, and would like to tell Dr. Dobb's readers about it, please send an email to John.
Thanks!
