A feed reader for pictures 

FlickrFan is a feed reader for pictures. You can easily subscribe to pictures from your Flickr contacts, as well as pictures from professional photographers at AP and AFP.

It's also a great utility that helps you get the most out of Flickr.  

1. Every night, it can backup your new Flickr photos on your local computer.

2. Use a convenient drop folder on local network to upload pics automatically to Flickr. Sub-folders for tags.

3. Share pictures with friends with your own RSS 2.0 feed with picture enclosures.

4. Post pictures to Twitter by checking a box.

5. Every hour new pictures are automatically downloaded into your screen saver folder and appear on the Events page.

Getting started 

1. Download and install the OPML Editor.

2. Choose Tools Catalog from the Misc menu.

3. Click on the Install link for "PhotoFan." Click on OK to confirm.

4. If all goes well the Home page for FlickrFan should appear.

From there it should be self-explanatory.

Staying in touch 

The tool is automatically updated every night if you leave the OPML Editor running.
