I think I figured it out. I was walking down the stairs about an hour ago and almost tripped, and thought "That was almost a faceplant."
So a memeplant is when you trip and your face lands splat in the middle of a new meme. Faceplants are sometimes fun (when you're skiing) but memeplants are always fun. :-)
