Earlier today I asked whether I should use Google or Yahoo Groups or something else to manage mail notification of news for people who want to follow NewsJunk.com via email. As I was writing, I knew there were tradeoffs: In favor: 1. Early-on I don't want to manage a mail distribution system. It's not the kind of thing I'm good at, it requires money, better to offload it. Against: 1. What if, later on, I want to take this function in-house?
