AP mess, day 3

Wednesday, June 18, 2008 by Dave Winer.

A picture named monkey3.gifI spoke with Jim Kennedy at AP this afternoon and talked about the controversy over how bloggers should link to and use information published by the AP. I asked him to look at one of my sites to tell me if it was infringing, and he said it was not, which should put to rest some of the concerns that bloggers have expressed. Please listen to this podcast to get an idea of what happened, and where I think we should go from here. Permalink to this paragraph
