What would be left for the Republicans?Friday, November 14, 2008 by Dave Winer. What will be left of the Republican leadership if Obama offers McCain a job in his administration and McCain accepts. It must be too juicy an option, how could Obama resist. I don't imagine McCain has a whole lot of love for his party at this point, esp if Obama gets his buddy Lieberman a pass for his excesses during the campaign and esp if Obama offers something interesting. Who then would be the leader of the Republicans in Washington? |
