Google Buzz? It's pretty cool!

Tuesday, February 09, 2010 by Dave Winer.

Okay I've had about five minutes to check it out, and I like it so far. Permalink to this paragraph

It's not really like anything else, not like Twitter. One thing that's very ominous convenient is that responses to my tweets messages show up in my GMail inbox. That's very smart.  Permalink to this paragraph

Look at the chrome of my toolbar. The only element that's more prominent than Twitter is GMail.  Permalink to this paragraph

BTW, these items have permalinks and they're on the web. Here's my first post. And man it sure was inspired by FriendFeed.  Permalink to this paragraph

I wish they had a fact sheet on it.  Permalink to this paragraph

1. Apparently it has an API, but it isn't compatible with Twitter's. Microsoft wouldn't have made this mistake. How will the Twitter clients adapt. They must be cursing Google right about now (but doing it privately of course). Permalink to this paragraph

2. Lots of strategy taxes.  Permalink to this paragraph

3. Nice user interface. At least there they don't have an agenda (that I have seen yet). Permalink to this paragraph
