Hi, I'm Natanya Pitts, one of the authors of the soon-to-be published "Official BBEdit Handbook". The publisher is Ziff-Davis and we've had the full support and a whole slew of help from the folks at BBEdit. The book is mainly focused on HTML authors but also contains three chapters about programming with BBEdit. One of those chapters is all about the BBEdit and Frontier team.
I'm in a bind. The person who wrote the programming chapters put them together when Frontier was at 4.2.1 and since then 4.2.3 has been released. The problem is my programmer is in Europe for 3 weeks and I don't know a thing about programming, neither does my co-author Bob LeVitus. The editors at Ziff and at Bare Bones would like the chapter to reflect the current version of Frontier since we belive it will be read by a large audience since it's the only one of it's kind on the shelves. Since Frontier's partnership is such an important aspect of using BBEdit we'd like the information to be as up to date as possible.
Would you do me a huge favor? I've attached the actual chapter, pardon the editors markup. Can you look it over and correc the existing information to reflect the upgrade. Hopefully it won't be too much work, but I just don't know how. My project editor, Simon Hayes, suggested that I email you and ask. If you have any questions or need to verify this with Simon you can email him at email@example.com or call him at 510/601-2008 (California time).
I'd appreciate it soooooo much if you could help me out. The book is going to be good I think and I want it to be right and relflect your work as accurately as possible.
If you'd like to talk to me you can page me at 1-800-532-2162. I'll be out of the office all day today training but will have breaks and time to return a call.
