8:21 PM:   AOL's Propeller changes look, algorithm. Propeller, AOL's social news site that's never really managed to catch on, has a brand new look today. It's the third major rehaul since the service was launched as Netscape.com in mid-2006. Webware.  
3:11 PM:   JVC's HP-FXC50 earphones promise to get closer to your eardrum. They may not conduct sound through your bones, but JVC's new HP-FXC50 earphones at least promise to pump sound deeper into your ears than your usual earbuds. Engadget.  
1:11 PM:   Google LatLong: Pound the pavement. Starting today, you can tell Google Maps that you want walking directions, and we'll try to find you a route that's direct, flat, and uses pedestrian pathways when we know about them. Google.  
10:36 AM:   Google Maps Now Has Walking Directions. A Google Groups thread lead me to believe that Google Maps will soon be offering walking directions to everyone, in the near future. SE Roundtable.  
10:34 AM:   WordPress Comes To iPhone. There's now a WordPress app for iPhone available for download from the iTunes App Store. The software lets you update your WordPress blog from anywhere. ReadWriteWeb.
