The BMW Site -- Powered By Frontier! Apple is telling the world how great the Macintosh is as a web server. This is very good! Their ads show how the BMW website is developed on and runs on Macintosh web servers. But they forgot to mention that Frontier is running behind the pages, doing cool things like building custom roadsters for you.
To see how it works, visit:

Do a View Source and search for "fcgi". There's the proof!
Thanks BMW!

PS: I'm a former owner of a 318i, 525, and 740IL. I drive a Nissan pickup now. Maybe it's time for another Beamer? Hmmm.
PPS: I just got an email from Matthew Dornquast, matthew@qm.fallon.com, the developer of the BMW site. He says: "I noticed you mentioned my BMW roadster script on your web page.. COOL! Your web pages got me started! Your list kept me going. and Mason's cool 3.0.1 Webstar suite made it all !SO! easy to write. (I cranked it out in 5 hours! It was my first FCGI!) You should also let people know we're using BBEDIT with your latest suite/b9 to generate the site as well! YYAAAAAAaaa!"
