My notes on World Series Game 1. Giants win! 4-3. A screen shot of my editing environment. The World Series starts in less than two hours. Like Dan Shafer, I'm totally psyched. I think we're going to see some great baseball, followed by the first world championship for San Francisco, ever! We have a lot to be thankful for here in the Bay Area, that's for sure, but our economy and spirits sure could use a lift. The Giants winning, now, in 2002, would be very good. Stavros the Wonder Chicken, usually a high-strung but light-hearted weblog by a Canadian expat living in South Korea, has turned to the plight of his friend Rick, who was seriously injured in the Bali terrorism last weekend. Stavros and I have had our differences in the past, but it's time to put that aside, and see if there's a way to lend support through the Web. It's a good medium for giving.
