I have an LTE iPad that I get 2GB of data per month for $50 and I can terminate at any time. Totally month-to-month.

If I were to buy an iPhone, the same 2GB per month would cost $100 per month.

And I have to commit to a 2-year contract.

Why the huge disparity?
