Introducing Dave Carlick

Dave Carlick, carlick@vpvp.com, has been a friend and business partner of mine in various ventures over the years.

Today it is my pleasure to announce that Dave Carlick is joining UserLand's board of directors.

Dave founded Carlick Advertising, which went on to become the Silicon Valley office for Poppe Tyson; and was the founder of DoubleClick, a leading web ad rep company. Until last month, Dave was president of PowerAgent.

Dave was a pioneer in marketing on the web, participating in some great early websites, such as http://home.netscape.com/ and http://www.whitehouse.gov/.

As a UserLand board member, he will help us with business planning and assisting us in marketing and developing our software and editorial products.
