- I set up a Zoom meeting for tomorrow at 1PM Eastern.#
- Here's the invite. All testers are welcome. #
- It's a 1/2 hour meeting. As a Basic user I am limited in the number of participants and time, which is actually a good thing imho. #
- My goal for the meetup is to talk about next steps for Drummer, and answer questions people may have. #
- If this goes well, I'd like to do this regularly. 😀#
- I'm going to take the feature out of the first public release of Drummer. #
- It was a mistake to try something so ambitious this late in the game. #
- We'll come back to in a couple of months. #
- This happens sometimes, I wish it hadn't happened in view of the testers.#
- You all have been wonderful, enthusiastic, and understanding. #
- I'll let you know when the new version is ready. #
- I thought the Change Notes file was getting a big large, so I archved August and July into separate OPML files.#
- The file size went from 141K to 65K. #
- The notes are still available in the main file, as "includes" -- at the bottom of the file. #
- To create an include node:#
- Copy the URL of the OPML file to the clipboard, #
- In Drummer, put the bar cursor on the headline you want to be the include node.#
- Choose Include OPML from the File menu.#
- Paste the URL and click OK#
- Test the include node by expanding it. You should see the content of the outline appear, as if it were part of the outline. #
- When you double-click on a link node, in E/D it opens in an external browser window. It previously would open in a window inside E/D. #
- tweets.opml functionality removed.#
