How to Write for BloggerCon

At the first BloggerCon, we encouraged people to write for the conference as if it were a publication. This way, by putting some thought into agenda-setting before the face to face meeting, we could get more done. The result was a small but interesting collection of essays. I think it worked really well, and I'd like to try it again.
Writing on this site 
Anyone who is a member of this site can create an article on the site, by posting a message to the discussion group. To do so, be sure you're logged on, then create a message, edit it, and when you're satisfied, you can either point to it from your weblog, or if you'd like to have it included in the directory of BloggerCon essays, use the suggest-a-link page for that section.
Writing on your own site 
Of course since this is the Web, there's no reason you have to write the article on our site, you can write it on your own, and then suggest it for inclusion in the directory of BloggerCon essays.
Guidelines 
Essays should relate to the use of weblogs in education, law, business, medicine, libraries, politics, journalism, government, science, or other subject appropriate for people studying weblogs, such as faculty and students at a university. You do not have to attend BloggerCon in person to write for this site.
