Our interests are:
Why UserLand is participating in MIDAS.
- To promote standards that allow scripting to connect in with content tools. We've taken the first steps in conjunction with Bare Bones. I'd like to move that forward to take advantage of features in wizzy tools such as PageMill and HomePage, and Globetrotter from Akimbo.
- Futuristic ways of connecting CGI apps to web servers, in ways that allows the connection to evolve without breaking existing apps. I'm also interested in higher performance connections.
- Extending Internet Config to allow sharing of bookmark files and maybe even cache elements. What else? I'm happy to keep a list of data that could/should be shared between net apps.
