Introducing the Commemorative 24 Hours of Democracy Website.

This is a commemorative site, a snapshot, a site that represents a place we were at, one year ago. You'll find some broken links, but most still work. Digging the site out of the archives, putting it back together and modernizing it has been a great experience. I can see how much more powerful the web has become in the last year! I also recall the great spirits and optimism that were present. It seems so long ago, but it was just a year. We gained a lot in that year, and we lost something too. I'm reminded of the new friends I made doing this project last year. Maybe that's the nicest thing about it!

So now, let's take the jump, switch gears, turn the clock back. It's the spring of 1996. The Communications Decency Act just passed Congress. Let's remember... One more time!
