Why do we fear death?

You might say it's just logical, it makes sense to be scared of the great unknown. But maybe it's just that evolution made us this way. Perhaps fear of death is a survival trait.

Think about it. Two humans are born, one is scared of death, the other is okay with it. Which has a greater chance of surviving to reproduce? It seems obvious.

So maybe there isn't really anything to fear?
