It's even worse than it appears..
The Brooklyn Nets go down in four to the Sixers. Let's hope they stick with the current plan, and add new players who can start great careers with the Nets, instead of pointless veterans who have already won championships and have no reason to keep playing to win, and dis the fans of NYC, first by telling us the Knicks suck permanently, then claiming it's okay to be a Nazi and still play basketball in NYC. We like our basketball players to have a reason to want to win, who don't feel they're doing anyone a favor by showing up to play the freaking game, and don't practice race-hate on Twitter. New York is a diverse city, and proud of it. Welcoming the Nets back to NYC. No more carpetbaggers please. And definitely no more Brooklyn Nets/Nazis. Thanks. #
BTW to KD, Knicks fans aren't fair-weather-friends. #
I asked ChatGPT why they call MSG the "world's most famous arena." I think it's bullshit. If it's the most famous one what's the point of saying it is. Everyone would know that, right. #
I asked ChatGPT for a recipe for macaroni and cheese in 25 words or less. Boil macaroni until tender, drain. In a saucepan, mix butter, flour, milk, salt, pepper until thick. Stir in cheese, then macaroni. 21 words.#
You'd think Google's version of ChatGPT would just crawl the web. #
A beautiful church and house in a great little Catskills town. $499K. #
I'm @davewiner:matrix.org on Matrix, which a friend has urged me to try out. If you're on Matrix, here's a room you can join, theoretically! ;-)#

You know those obnoxious sites that pop up dialogs when they think you're about to leave, asking you to subscribe to their email newsletter? Well that won't do for Scripting News readers who are a discerning lot, very loyal, but that wouldn't last long if I did rude stuff like that. So here I am at the bottom of the page quietly encouraging you to sign up for the nightly email. It's got everything from the previous day on Scripting, plus the contents of the linkblog and who knows what else we'll get in there. People really love it. I wish I had done it sooner. And every email has an unsub link so if you want to get out, you can, easily -- no questions asked, and no follow-ups. Go ahead and do it, you won't be sorry! :-)
