DJ DaveNet WWW

I like to write about music.
I often play a song over and over while I write these pieces.
I let the singer provide the beat.
Their words make my words flow.
I write to their beat.
Like everyone else writing about music on the web, I look forward to the day when I can link real music into these pages. Click on a link to start the music. Start reading. Nice. Tap your foot to my website.
But this approach requires lots of bandwidth!
If everyone were listening to music at the same time no one would be able to send email over the net.
Turn it around.
Add a new member to the band. A new kind of DJ that plays with web images.
A new track on each music CD, the web-track. As the music passes over a certain place the CD player spits out a URL which is passed to the web browser which jumps to that page.
The page is dynamic, it can be changed by the DJ on a daily or even hourly basis.
Little images. A few words. Fast. Server push, but from the client!
A music CD becomes software. A new kind of performance.
Yes, and it's low bandwidth.
It'll be fun!
PS: Please check out the new MacBird website. Thanks!
