Hi Cory...
I think I understand where you're coming from, having fought against DRM, this must look something like DRM to you. After all, we're saying we:
1. Have rights.
2. And want to manage them.
But we're not trying to control how people view our writing, and most of the responses so far have taken the approach that we are. We like writing for the Web, and that includes all the tools people use to view content in different ways.
But, where we draw the line, and this is important to us, and I think it should be important to you, as a writer, are tools that:
Modify the meaning of our writing.
I'm going to leave it right there. There's obviously more to say about it. But it would be great if we could just agree on that.
