(FILES): This undated file shows Leonid Hurwicz, Regents Professor Emeritus at the University of Minnesota. Hurwicz, the oldest person ever to win a Nobel Prize, has died at age 90 on June 24, 2008, a spokesman for the University of Minnesota confirmed June 25, 2008. Hurwicz shared the 2007 Nobel Prize in economics for work on Mechanism Design theory, a sub-field of economics, which aims to ensure the most efficient use of resources in search of desired ends.
