US-SHIPWRECK-CHALICE

John Corcoran, head conservator for Mel Fisher's Treasures, uses a pick to delicately remove heavy encrustation from a gold chalice Wednesday, June 25, 2008, in Key West, Florida. The chalice was discovered Tuesday, June 24, about 30 miles west of Key West by Blue Water Ventures salvors during a continuing search for a 1622 Spanish galleon shipwreck off the Florida Keys. Salvors estimated the value of the chalice at at one million US dollars or more. AFP PHOTO / Florida Keys News Bureau / Rob O/NEAL == NO SALES / RESTRICTED TO EDITORIAL USE ONLY / GETTY OUT ==
