I should patent this idea
By Dave Winer on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 12:36 PM.
A new kind of CAPTCHA. permalink
It asks you a question that you would only be able to answer if you read every word in a story. permalink
When you do that, the ability to comment is turned on. permalink
Otherwise, no comments allowed. permalink
That way you would never have to say to a commenter -- "I'm guessing you didn't read the piece." permalink
Which happens so often that it's pretty obvious no one ever reads anything.  permalink
I'm just kidding about patenting it. permalink
PS: Most of the comments will be How dare you patent something! :-) permalink
