The Blue Ribbon

If you run a website, here's a cooool thing you can do to tell your users that it's important that they stand up for their right to free speech on the worldwide web.

If you don't run a website and just browse the web -- send email to webmasters of sites you admire and tell them that you think it's important that they post the blue ribbon on their site, so you know that you're supporting your rights. Send them a pointer to this page.

The "Electronic Frontier Foundation" has asked that all web sysops place a blue ribbon on their home pages:

Want to see how I do it on my home page? Click here. There are other versions of the blue ribbon graphic at the EFF website. Design your own GIFs. Blue ribbons can be really pretty things. Be creative with your ribbons. Let's have fun!
