A brief note. As you know Twitter has a 140-char limit. This causes me, all the time, to cut words out of sentences, and that changes their meaning, leads to misunderstandings, and most important reduces the complexity of ideas that can be expressed.

I have a great sentence in the previous piece that really sums it up. Unfortunately it's more than 140 characters. Another limit on expression, this one so obvious and in your face that we almost don't even notice it. I hate the limit. I hate the idea of the limit. We don't need tech companies as platform vendors, they suck at freedom, and we sure as hell don't need them as our editors.
