Bloggers are your sources. You'd be hard-pressed to do your job if your sources didn't blog about what they do.

Look at your stories. How many of them are about what someone said in a blog post or a tweet. A public utterance that made news. Or helped support your research.

Reporters have been trying to write off blogging since the beginning. They're doing it again. This is not news.

Blogging isn't going to stop as long as people have something to say.
