The 24 Hours of Democracy project actually began on 11/5/94, over a year ago, when I first wrote about the energy of the Internet.

Later I wrote about it from other angles, usually in opposition to the Communications Decency Act, which served (and continues to serve!) as a great lightning rod for issues of freedom, human evolution and our desire as a species to have fun!

I've written about democracy on the net in at least eleven pieces. I wanted to assemble a subset of the DaveNet pieces here for background reading. It takes about a half-hour to read all these pieces. I had fun doing it! A trip down memory lane! Hope you enjoy this stuff too...
